Hello and nice that you are visiting this site.
Here are Dugi (Mongolian) and Martin (Brandenburg) reporting from Mongolia.
Mongolia Fever was planned as a collection for our holidays in my wife's birth country.
Now, for family reasons, my wife and I have gone to Mongolia to visit her parents.
Why Mongolia?
Dugi, born in 1991, came to Germany to study in 2013. We met in 2014.
In 2022, my wife had to go to Mongolia for several months due to her mother's serious illness.
Afterwards we brought your parents to Germany for several months.
Since this is not permanently possible, we have been in Mongolia more frequently since 2023 to support their parents.
We found a plot of land of approximately 2500 square meters outside the capital so that we could escape the capital and its poor air quality.
At first, we had only built yurts on this property for our visits.
We have now had a 4 seasons house built at the end of 2024.
We go there several times a year and try to make it as pleasant as possible for Dugi's parents.
Property and ideas
It's now 2025, and we're planning to add several yurts to the house. We also want to become self-sufficient there.
So far we have achieved the following:
- Residential building
- Outdoor toilet (Traditional Mongolian)
- Yurt (GER)
- Deep well - 84 meters - Fresh water, drinking water
- Power connection
- 4 Seasons House
- Container (storage space)
Planned for 2025:
- Foundations for yurts (GER) with external, attached bathroom
- Greenhouse
- Solar system solar storage
- Carport
- Dairy cows (2)
- Chickens (egg producers)
